Why this website

When I open Wolff Geisler's factual books, something happens that rarely happens with other books.
Even passages that I have read countless times suddenly take on new meaning when viewed in conjunction with current events and other, seemingly unrelated sources. A piece of the puzzle falls into place, a new context emerges, and sometimes a flawed line of thinking collapses. There is not a word too many in his books; every thought written down, every source cited, has a good reason for being there in order to understand the subject matter.
One might well ask: Is it important? Why understand? Well, the esteemed reader of these lines will probably have asked themselves this question from time to time. But the very fact that they have landed here, on this page, is an unmistakable sign that they want to understand. That they are looking for answers to questions that cannot be found in school textbooks in any country on earth.

The fact that I run this website is directly related to the above lines. I am convinced that the more people understand, the greater the chance that the structures of the society we live in will change. Hopefully for the better.
